# FAQs

#### **Can I deposit additional funds into a vault I'm already in?**

Yes, but each deposit starts a new lock period for that portion of your stake.<br>

#### **What happens if the curator closes all positions?**

Your share of the vault is still tracked by your LP tokens. You can still request and receive withdrawals.<br>

#### **Can the curator steal my funds?**

Curators can trade with vault funds, which means poor decisions or intentional mismanagement can result in losses. However, the force withdrawal mechanism ensures you can always retrieve whatever value remains in the vault after the force withdrawal delay expires.<br>

#### **How often should I check on my vault position?**

This depends on the vault's strategy and your risk tolerance. Monitor positions periodically, especially during volatile market conditions.<br>

#### **What if the curator never processes my withdrawal?**

Once the force withdrawal delay expires, you (or Aftermath on your behalf) can force withdraw your funds. This ensures you're never permanently locked out of your capital.<br>

#### **Are curator fees charged on my entire withdrawal?**

No. Curator fees only apply to profits. If you withdraw at a loss or break-even, no fee is charged. The fee is calculated as a percentage of the difference between your withdrawal value and your original deposit value.<br>

#### **What happens to my position if the vault gets liquidated?**

If vault positions are liquidated due to insufficient margin, the loss is shared proportionally among all LP token holders. This is one of the key risks of depositing into vaults.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.aftermath.finance/perpetuals/vaults/for-depositors/faqs.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
